Birthdays

Food items are prohibited during school parties and student birthdays. Please do not send any food items to school as they will not be distributed. Possible alternatives for birthday recognition include donating a book to the classroom library or a game to the indoor recess collection.Each teacher has their own way of celebrating each child’s birthday and will make him/her feel special. Additionally, children will have their birthday announced to the whole school during morning announcements. If your child is having a birthday party, invitations need to be mailed unless all children (or all girls for a girl’s party and all boys for a boy’s party) in the class are receiving one.
